UI Design

When I decided to apply to school, I challenged myself to participate in the 100 days of UI challenge from Daily UI. I’ve loved creating new things and refining my Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects skills. Below are a few samples from the past couple of months.

Role(s): Designer

Programs: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects

Photo Essay

This was one of my first photo essays that incorporated audio. I was lucky enough to be able to catch Al Goldberg, the owner of Mess Hall, at a time when he was participating in a DC festival by baking enormous “Dragon Legs.” Below is his story.

Role(s): Photographer, audio-recorder, editor

Programs: Adobe Premiere Pro

Mini-documentary

For a project at GWU, I documented Central Union Mission. “One life at a time, the Mission works to help transform the area’s toughest rehabilitation cases, including drug addicts, gang members, criminal offenders and the chronically homeless into productive members of society.”

Role(s): Videographer, editor

Programs: Adobe Premiere Pro

Social Campaign

As a video production specialist at an insurance company that partners with nonprofits, I have opportunities to collaborate with different organizations. This video was created to advertise our Breastcancer.org partnership, and our Baskets campaign.

Programs: Adobe After Effects, Premiere

Role(s): Co-storyboarder, videographer, editor

Photography (various)

As a freelancer for over six years, I have had the opportunity to work with many groups from large companies to small families. Below are a few of my favorite shots from over the years. For more photo examples, please explore jamiefinkphoto.com and/or @jfinkphoto on Instagram.
